Deposit Deadline Extended!

The deadline has been extended to get your deposit in for the Italy trip. The deadline is now September 18th, 2009. The deposit amount will still be $100. Once this date passes, your deposit will be non-refundable. If you have questions or need to get your deposit refunded, please call or e-mail Anthony Travel.

Italy Payment Options

Paying for the Italy trip can be done in a number of different ways. Please pay close attention to the requests Anthony Travel has for each type of payment.

Option #1: Check / Money Order

If you are paying by check, please mail payment directly to:

Please make checks payable to Anthony Travel. Please note that any returned checks will incur a $35 fee.

Option #2: Credit Card

You may also call Anthony Travel at (800) 736-6377 to pay by credit card. Regular business hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday.

There will is an option to register and pay your $100 deposit online:

3) Click “Book Now” on your tour page
4) Follow the registration instructions and pay upon completion


***Paying online ONLY allows you to pay $100/per person. To authorize your credit card for future payment installments, please do the following:

Trip Specifics for Italy

Greetings! I am starting this blog with hopes that the information provided about the Italy trip will be accurate, up to date, and useful. I figured this would be the best way for everyone to get the information they need. Below are some important details regarding the trip next May. Travel Dates
Depart = May 24th, 2010
Return = June 1st, 2010

Payment Timeline – (Player $3495) (Single Occupancy $3695) (Double/Triple Occupancy $3495)
September 18th: $100 deposit
January 15th: $1600 (half the trip cost)
March 1st: $1795 Final payment due
*Kids between 2-7 years old (sharing parents bed or a cot) is free of charge. They will pay for airfare only.

Fundraising
Fundraising is going to be one of the most vital steps in the trip process. In 2007, we had one of the most successful fundraising campaigns in the 15 year existence of Global Football. Everyone involved will need to be relentless and take a lot of initiative to ensure we maximize all opportunities. Below are some projected ideas we as a football program are going to pursue:

1. Our staff will send a letter to all football alumni asking for their support.
2. Our advancement office will provide sponsorship letters for players to take to potential donors.
3. We will host a fundraising event in the WINTER (possibly a celebrity basketball game)
4. Raise money during the season through various functions, raffles, contests, and sales.

What Do You Need To Do Now
1. If you do not have a passport, start the process NOW!
2. Make plans to get the $100 deposit in by September 1st.
3. Think about potential people that would help support your trip financially.
